Berbeda dengan game platformer biasanya menampilkan grafis 2D yang lebih kartunis, Rolling Sun justru menampilkan grafis yang sangat realistis. Merhunes selaku pihak developer memakai Cry Engine 3 sebagai engine utama game ini.
Jika teman pernah memainkan game klasik menyerupai Crash Bandicoot, mungkin Rolling Sun mempunyai konsep yang hampir sama dengannya. Melewati hutan, bukit bersalju, bangunan tua, sungai, jurang, tanjakan, dan beberapa kawasan lain bertema fantasi. Rolling Sun has a gameplay based on CRYENGINE's physics with a horizontal scrolling camera in 3D environments. In this game you must lead your ball from left to right but also in depth depending on the obstacles and tracks.
Throughout your adventure, you play as a ball of magic stone representing the Sun God on Earth. Your goal is to counter the plans of your rival, the moon god. To do so, the sun give you skills to help you. Such as a double jump, power planner etc ...
During this adventure, you travel through a magical world where poetry and magic will be present.

Mengenai spesifikasi komputer untuk sanggup memainkan game ini memang belum ada klarifikasi resmi. Tetapi teman sanggup memperkirakan dengan perbandingan game lain yang memakai Cry Engine 3. Salah satu yang saya sukai dari game ini ialah physics effect yang menciptakan permainan lebih hidup. Rolling Sun ini ialah versi demo, sedangkan versi penuh segera hadir di Steam.
